Job Description: As a Laser Cut Programmer and Operator, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating laser cutting equipment to produce high-quality parts according to client specifications. You will work closely with our engineering and machining teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency in production, supporting both high-volume and custom projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate laser cutting machines to produce parts to exact specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to prepare cutting instructions.
- Conduct routine machine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure parts meet precise standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize cutting processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in laser cutting programming and operation.
- Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (experience with laser-specific software is a plus).
- Strong understanding of laser cutting processes and materials.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
