Part-Time Kitchen Assistant – Milton, ON
$20/hour | Part-time | Approximately 8 hours/week
We are a small, growing meal-prep and catering business operating from a professional commercial kitchen in Milton, Ontario.
We are looking for a reliable, clean and organized Kitchen Assistant to help with our food preparation and packing operations.
You don’t need to be a professional cook — training will be provided.
Responsibilities
* Basic vegetable and ingredient preparation
* Portioning and assembling meals
* Packing and labeling prepared meals
* Washing dishes and kitchen equipment
* Cleaning and sanitizing work areas
* Organizing ingredients and supplies
* Following food-safety and hygiene procedures
* Assisting with general kitchen tasks as needed
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Reliable and punctual
* Clean, organized and detail-oriented
* Comfortable working in a professional kitchen
* Able to follow instructions carefully
* Comfortable with repetitive food preparation and packing
* Previous kitchen, catering, food-service or meal-prep experience is an asset
* Food Handler Certificate is an asset
Schedule
4 days per week × 2 hours per day
Approximately 8 hours per week.
Exact days and times will be discussed based on availability.
Additional hours may become available as the business grows.
Pay
$20/hour
