Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Neutron: Factory Maintenance and 5th Class Power Engineer to join our team. This role involves maintaining and operating complex industrial systems within a manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability of plant operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in industrial maintenance and power engineering. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including boilers, HVAC systems, and electrical components.
- Operate and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems to ensure optimal plant performance.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and control diagrams for maintenance tasks.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management.
- Conduct welding, mechanical repairs, and electrical troubleshooting as needed to maintain plant equipment.
- Manage boiler operations in compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with analysis of system failures or inefficiencies to recommend improvements or repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed during all maintenance activities.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service by supporting production teams with timely repairs and system support.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrician practices, HVAC systems, welding techniques, and boiler operation.
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and electrical experience.
- Experience with CMMS software for maintenance tracking.
- Mechanical knowledge related to manufacturing equipment and industrial systems.
- Ability to analyze complex systems using analysis skills to identify root causes of issues.
- Familiarity with low voltage electrical systems and industrial maintenance standards.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective documentation and team collaboration.
- Customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a manufacturing setting.
