MCG Careers, Inc. is seeking a Full-time Marketing & Content Coordinator on behalf of our employer partner under the Winning Edge-Workplace Training Program.
This locally owned Calgary company specializes in custom finish carpentry, millwork, accent walls, ceilings, and commercial interior installations. Job Responsibilities
- Posting content to Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube with consistent captions and hashtags
- Managing a simple content calendar so posts go out on schedule
- Sending email campaigns to our lead list using our CRM (GoHighLevel)
- Responding to DMs, comments, and inquiries on social media
- Helping track what is working - views, leads, engagement
- Supporting general marketing tasks as the business grows
- Recording video content in-person at the office/shop/jobsite in Calgary and surrounding areas
What We Are Looking For
- Based in Calgary
- Comfortable filming with a phone or camera and editing basic video (CapCut, Reels editor, or similar)
- Organized enough to manage a content calendar and hit deadlines without being reminded
- A self-starter who can work independently most of the time
- Some experience or coursework in marketing, communications, media, or a related field is an asset but not required - show us your work
Nice to Have
- Experience with GoHighLevel or similar CRM/email tools
- Basic graphic design (Canva is fine)
- Interest in trades, construction, or home renovation content
Winning Edge – Workplace Training Program Requirements
To qualify for this opportunity through the Winning Edge Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen.
- Must be unemployed at the time of intake.
- Ready, willing, and able to work full-time (up to 40 hours/week).
- Not a current student or enrolled in any program or school.
