Position Overview:
We are looking for Exterior Cladding & Architectural Panel Installers with a strong background in the installation of metal cladding systems, Hardie board, soffit, fascia, and downspouts. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to deliver high-quality workmanship on every project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install various exterior cladding systems, including aluminum composite panels (ACM), corrugated panels, standing seam panels, and custom sheet metal
- Install Hardie board siding (lap siding, panel siding, and trim systems)
- Install soffit, fascia, and downspout systems with precision and attention to detail
- Perform flashing and waterproofing to ensure the building envelope is properly sealed
- Measure, cut, and fit panels, soffit, and trim pieces accurately according to blueprints and specifications
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialty equipment safely
- Work at heights using scaffolding, ladders, lifts, and other access equipment
- Collaborate with site supervisors, other trades, and team members to complete projects on time
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies
Qualifications:
- 0-20 years of experience in exterior cladding, Hardie board, soffit, fascia, and downspout installation
- Proficient with various materials including aluminum, steel, composite panels, and fiber cement
- Strong understanding of flashing details and waterproofing techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Fall protection, aerial lift, and other safety certifications are an asset (or willing to obtain)
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
