Print and Mail Insertion Operator

What is in it for you:
· Hourly salary of $21.
· 4-month contract.
· Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
· Weekday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities:
· Establish and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Work with the Lead Print Operator to review production schedules.
· Determine output requirements.
· Perform document setup and manipulation as required.
· Review and approve proofs to ensure quality meets or exceeds customer requirements.
· Insert multiple documents into envelopes.
· Program jobs into insertion equipment.
· Perform maintenance and repairs in high-frequency service areas to maximize uptime.
· Resolve production issues.
· Maintain production equipment and replenish supplies.
· Monitor supply inventory.
· Provide backup support for processing Loomis deliveries.
· Perform other duties as required.
· Act as a backup delivery driver.
What you will need to succeed:
Required qualifications
· Post-secondary technology training or equivalent experience.
· Valid driver's licence.
· 1.+ years experience in a print production environment.
Required competencies
· Ability to operate large centralized digital equipment.
· Ability to identify production inconsistencies and quality issues.
· Ability to use PC applications in a networked environment.
· Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
· Ability to listen, understand, and communicate effectively.
· Willingness to learn and develop.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
