Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join our mining team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment, a commitment to safety, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, loaders, rock trucks and graders to perform tasks on mining sites

Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

Conduct pre-operation equipment checks and report any maintenance issues promptly

Complete tasks efficiently and according to project specifications

Collaborate with other team members and on-site personnel to ensure smooth project execution

Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic maintenance as needed.

Communicate effectively with site personnel
Qualifications
-
Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator

Proven experience in Surface Mining is an asset
-
Familiarity with various types of heavy equipment

Strong commitment to safety protocols

GPS knowledge an asset
Requirements

Successful completion of Drug and Alcohol Screening
-
Valid and in good standing Ontario Drivers License
Education and Certification

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Surface miner certification an asset
