Sales Consultant Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and build genuine relationships.
- Guide customers through the sales process from initial consultation to final purchase.
- Listen to customers' needs and recommend products that suit their style, preferences, and budget.
- Meet individual and store sales goals while providing exceptional customer service.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our products to confidently answer questions and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately, including processing cash, debit, credit card, and other payment transactions.
- Handle cashiering duties with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Answer telephone inquiries professionally, schedule appointments, and assist customers with questions.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays and ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and inviting.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, restocking, pricing, and general store upkeep.
- Stay informed about current promotions, new arrivals, product knowledge, and store policies.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally while ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve store goals and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and provide exceptional service during busy periods.
Qualifications
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and achieve sales goals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional, and confident approach.
- Experience operating POS systems and handling cash accurately.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable using computers, payment systems, and other retail technology.
- Experience with merchandising and maintaining attractive product displays is an asset.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A dependable, loyal team player with a strong work ethic.
- Weekend availability is required, along with availability for a few hours during the week.
