Job Summary
we DONT provide SINP papers. We are seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of trailer and heavy equipment systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with automotive and industrial repair, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The technician will ensure trailers are safe, reliable, and compliant with industry standards, supporting the operational needs of our fleet and clients.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on truck trailers and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
- Repair or replace defective components utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized machinery.
- Conduct repairs involving HVAC systems, electrical wiring, brakes, axles, suspension, and lighting.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, excavators, cranes, or other industrial machinery as needed.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex problems accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used for each trailer or piece of equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations.
- Assist with assembly or disassembly of trailers during repairs or modifications.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair status clearly to supervisors or clients.
- Should be good at stick & mig welding.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a mechanic or technician in dealership settings or heavy equipment repair environments.
- Hands-on experience with excavators, cranes, forklifts, farm machinery, or industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong background in automotive repair including trailer maintenance and heavy-duty vehicle systems.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, schematics interpretation, welding techniques, HVAC systems, and power tools operation.
- Experience with heavy lifting and the use of hand tools for mechanical repairs.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures for Caterpillar machinery or similar brands is a plus.
- Prior work involving industrial equipment operation or assembly is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with good customer service abilities are essential for success in this role.
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
