To support the on-going growth of our business, we are currently seeking a Overhead Crane Operator to join our West Edmonton team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate overhead cranes to stack, move, unload, or load materials safely and efficiently
- Interpret steel order tickets and accurately pull customer orders in compliance with Company training and safe job procedures
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other projects and duties assigned by Supervisor
- Must be able to work afternoon shift (2pm – 11pm)
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a crane operator
- Overhead crane ticket and experience in handling steel
- General knowledge and experience handling steel
- Strong verbal/written English communication skills
- Ability to stand, lift, and perform various other physical functions
- Ability to work well individually and as a part of a team
- Must be safety conscious
