Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Marine Mechanic to join our team and provide expert maintenance and repair services for a variety of marine vessels. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical background, hands-on experience with marine engines and systems, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on marine engines, propulsion systems, and related components
- Diagnose mechanical problems using specialized tools and techniques
- Use hand tools and power tools to disassemble, repair, and reassemble marine equipment
- Conduct system tests to verify repairs and ensure optimal operation of vessels
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
- Assist in troubleshooting electrical systems related to marine machinery when necessary
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in marine engine repair or similar field
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose mechanical issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Prior experience working on boats or marine vessels is preferred but not required
- Relevant certifications or technical training in marine mechanics are advantageous

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
