Dial A Bottle Edmonton is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Liquor Store Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering a wide selection of alcoholic beverages to customers’ homes, ensuring prompt and professional service. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a good sense of organization, and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Duties
- Safely operate commercial delivery vehicles to transport liquor orders to customers across designated routes
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service
- Upsell additional products or promotions to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
- Assist customers with their orders, answer questions, and provide product recommendations when appropriate
- Manage cash or card transactions accurately and process payments efficiently
- Organize deliveries for optimal route efficiency, ensuring all orders are complete and correctly documented
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle and merchandising displays in-store
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques for heavy items, and adhere to legal regulations regarding alcohol delivery
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy items safely (up to 50 pounds) on a regular basis
- Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members
- Excellent organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and inventory
- Basic math skills for handling transactions, pricing, and order calculations
- Knowledge of local routes and traffic patterns in Edmonton is advantageous
- Experience in sales, upselling, or merchandising is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining professionalism and punctuality
- Valid driver’s license with appropriate insurance coverage for commercial delivery operations
