Duties
- Install air conditioning systems
- Central A/C units
- Heat pumps (residential)
- Ductless mini-split systems
- Commissioning & startup
- Check refrigerant charge
- Verify airflow and system performance
- Ensure system meets manufacturer specs
- Service & maintenance
- Troubleshoot cooling issues
- Repair compressors, motors, capacitors
- Leak detection and refrigerant handling
- Electrical work (low/high voltage related to HVAC)
- Wiring thermostats
- Connecting disconnects and control circuits
- Refrigeration handling
- Recover, vacuum, and charge refrigerant (must follow environmental regulations)
- Customer interaction
- Explain system operation
- Recommend repairs or replacements
Requirements
- Valid license with a clean driving record
- Certification or training related to 313A standards (if applicable)
- Proven experience operating commercial or specialized vehicles preferred
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and vehicle maintenance procedures
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings as required
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime if necessary
