Sparks Brothers Liquor Locker is a locally owned and operated liquor store in Grande Prairie, Alberta. We pride ourselves on offering friendly customer service, a wide selection of products, and a welcoming shopping experience. We're currently looking for a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Part-Time Sales Associate. Must be available to work evenings 4-11 and weekends.
Job Description:
As a Sales Associate, you will be the face of our store, providing excellent customer service and helping customers find the right products for their needs. You’ll also assist with stocking shelves, maintaining a clean and organized store, and operating the till.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate the cash register and handle cash, debit, and credit transactions
- Stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure shelves are clean and well-organized
- Help with receiving and unpacking deliveries
- Maintain store cleanliness and follow safety protocols
- Provide product recommendations and answer customer questions
- Ensure customers meet legal age requirements for alcohol sales
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have or be willing to obtain ProServe certification
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an asset, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Friendly and outgoing personality with strong communication skills
