Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON> to join our construction and restoration team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, concrete finishing, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including concrete forming, siding installation, and heavy equipment operation. Candidates should be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments. A solid understanding of schematics, blueprints, and construction safety protocols is essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related restoration tasks with precision
- Install siding, framing, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Operate heavy equipment safely to assist with large-scale construction projects
- Utilize woodworking skills for custom carpentry tasks and detailed woodwork projects
- Conduct welding operations as required for structural repairs or custom fabrications
- Use scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment to access high or difficult-to-reach areas
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and protocols
- Assist team members with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure project efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with a focus on carpentry, concrete finishing, or restoration work
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery
- Knowledge of concrete forming techniques and siding installation processes
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively on job sites
- Prior experience working in construction environments that require heavy lifting and physical stamina
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites
