Duties
- Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
- Upsell salon products and retail items to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
- Manage front desk responsibilities such as scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and personalized service to encourage repeat business.
- Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products through ongoing education and training.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within a salon environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon setting.
- Ability to upsell retail products naturally while maintaining excellent service quality.
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional advice.
- Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is preferred but not required.
- A valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations.
