Responsibilities
- Support structured behavioural and developmental activities
- Engage the child through play-based and interactive learning activities
- Assist with communication, emotional regulation, and social development goals
- Adapt activities based on attention span, engagement, and developmental needs
- Record brief session observations and simple progress notes
- Maintain professional communication with caregivers
- Follow established support strategies and activity plans
Qualifications
- Experience working with children through childcare, tutoring, education, coaching, recreation, camps, or related settings
- Experience supporting children with developmental or behavioural needs considered an asset
- Strong communication and observation skills
- Patient, dependable, energetic, and adaptable
- Comfortable working in an in-person home-based setting
