Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Appliance Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Diagnose appliance issues by inspecting and testing various models using schematics and technical manuals
- Refrigerators, freezers, compressors, sealed systems, electrical diagnosis, thermostats, control boards and refrigerant-related work.
- Perform repairs on appliances such as washers, dryers, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, and HVAC systems as needed
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to disassemble, repair, replace parts, and reassemble appliances accurately
- Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to identify faulty components and troubleshoot effectively
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain repair procedures, estimated timelines, and maintenance tips
- Maintain detailed records of service calls, repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications for quality assurance
Requirements
- Proven electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot wiring issues and electrical components in appliances
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to appliance assembly, disassembly, and component replacement
- Experience in appliance repair or related technical fields such as HVAC or electronics is highly desirable
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
- Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams accurately for precise repairs
- Basic assembly skills for installing or replacing appliance parts or units when necessary
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel locally for service appointments
