All of our products are manufactured in-house—from design and laser cutting to welding, finishing, powder coating, assembly, and shipping.
Position Overview
The primary focus of this role will be assisting our head powder coater in prepping and hanging parts to be coated. Outside of the powder area, the role will also support other areas in the manufacturing process, such as sanding, grinding, loading and unloading machines, asssembling parts, maintaining and cleaning machines, etc. As a Labourer and Powder Coating Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting our day-to-day operations and ensuring efficiency in the powder coating area.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize materials for powder coating
- Hanging and removing parts before and after coating
- Assist tradespeople with various production tasks
- Operate basic machinery and hand tools
- Sand and grind metal components
- Sandblast products in preparation for coating
- Perform basic quality checks on materials and finished goods
- Assist with inventory organization and storage
- Assemble, package, and ship products
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or shop environment is an asset
- Previous knowledge or experience with powder coating is an asset but not required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
- Experience using hand tools (drills, sanders, etc.)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods
- Commitment to workplace safety and procedures
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Interest in trucks is a bonus, but not required

Shop Details
- Location: Crossfield, AB
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (overtime may be available)
- Steel-toe boots required; all other PPE provided
Compensation
- $16–$26 per hour; wage is entirely based on applicable experience
