Qualifications
A graduate from university in Physical Therapy Program with full or provisional accredited active license from Physiotherapy Alberta College + Association.
Skills
To perform assessments and treatments on patients using modalities, prescribing and performing exercises, setting up treatment goals and monitoring the outcomes.
To work collaboratively with other physiotherapists and therapy assistants in a team working environment.
To follow the standards of practice, policies and procedures.
To be an active listener, key learner towards continuous learning with a positive attitude.
To promote self management, education and awareness among patients with a focus on functional recovery, strength and active participation in daily life.
To provide and update patient evaluation and their progress report.
To communicate with administrative staff for the updates and scheduling.
