This role is for an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator. We are specifically seeking candidates whose primary responsibility has been preparing commercial construction estimates and tenders. Project Coordinators, Project Managers, Site Supervisors, and candidates without direct estimating responsibility will not be considered.

What You'll Do
- Lead estimates for small to mid-sized projects or components of larger project bids.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents to determine scope, bid strategy, and estimate requirements.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs and assemble comprehensive cost estimates using Pro-Est; leverage Acumatica and Autodesk Build for cost tracking and project coordination.
- Solicit and coordinate pricing from subcontractors and suppliers; clarify scopes of work and confirm bid intent.
- Maintain an up-to-date trade contractor database and engage in trade correspondence throughout the bid process.
- Prepare preliminary project schedules incorporating total duration, general conditions, and approximate site start and completion dates.
- Develop pre-bid construction schedules and alternative pricing to support competitive and comprehensive tender submissions.
- Complete final cost estimates and produce tender submissions for review and approval, working within an integrated technology stack including Pro-Est, Acumatica, and Autodesk Build. Evaluate bid results and conduct post-bid analysis to refine future estimating accuracy.
- Support the lead estimator on larger projects by completing material quantities, planning, tender form population, and generating RFIs.
- Execute thorough project handover, including a complete project briefing.
What You Bring
Experience 5+ years as an Estimator or in a similar construction estimating role
Project Scale -Small to mid-sized projects up to $10 million, or components of larger estimates
Experience - Experience across tenders and construction management project delivery
Technical Skills -Proven quantity take-off skills and construction cost estimating techniques
Sub-Trade Knowledge -Familiarity with sub-trades, building systems, and engineering fundamentals
Software -Proficiency in estimating software and project management tools
Scheduling - Ability to develop preliminary project schedules to establish durations, general conditions, and site logistics as part of the estimate |
Compensation package will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience and skills.
Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
