Job Description:
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the development of our Healthcare Assistant (HCA) program.
The SME will provide expert guidance to ensure the curriculum is accurate, relevant, and aligned with current healthcare practices and provincial standards in British Columbia.
Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise in healthcare and HCA training
- Review and validate curriculum content and course materials
- Ensure alignment with BC healthcare standards and best practices
- Collaborate with program developers and instructors
- Offer recommendations to improve course quality and relevance
Requirements:
- Background in healthcare (e.g., nurse, HCA, or related field)
- Experience working in Canadian healthcare system (preferably BC)
- Strong knowledge of HCA roles, responsibilities, and standards
- Experience in teaching or curriculum review is an asset
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in North Vancouver, BC V7M 1H3
