What You'll Do
-
Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations

Coordinate with the restaurant management team on supply ordering, daily tasks, and kitchen priorities

Monitor inventory levels and complete biweekly inventory assessments in coordination with the Head Chef

Maintain FIFO practices, dating and organization systems, cleaning schedules, and stock levels

Ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and maintained to the highest standards

Collaborate with Head Chef and Creative Director on menu development

Coach, guide, and support the development of junior kitchen team members
-
Communicate performance, training, and development matters on a regular basis

Promote clear communication and help maintain a safe, respectful, and positive working environment
What You'll Need

Previous experience in a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef, Lead Line Cook, or similar kitchen leadership role

Strong culinary skills and the ability to support daily kitchen operations

Experience coaching, guiding, and supporting junior kitchen team members

Strong understanding of food safety, FIFO practices, inventory control, and kitchen organization

Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Food Handler Certificate
-
Authorization to work in Canada
-
An interest in learning about and contributing to Linny’s steakhouse and deli-inspired menu
