Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards
- Cook menu items with precision, ensuring proper presentation and taste
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Follow food safety guidelines to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination
- Maintain a clean and organized work station throughout shifts
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures in food handling and preparation
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent customer service
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong understanding of meal preparation and food handling procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work well as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings if needed
- Food industry experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Pay: $15.35-$22.00 per hour
