Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Light Construction Worker to join our team. This position involves assisting with various construction projects, performing a variety of tasks that require technical knowledge and manual dexterity. Duties
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related masonry tasks
- Install cabinetry, flooring, tile, and perform carpentry work as needed
- Support concrete finishing and masonry work to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with construction painting, restoration projects, and general site cleanup
- Measure materials accurately for construction estimating purposes
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout projects
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or related fields such as carpentry, masonry, or restoration
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation preferred
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, tile laying, flooring installation, and electrical work is a plus
- Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics and construction plans
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Physical capability to lift heavy materials and perform strenuous tasks safely
