Responsibilities
- Performing general and skilled construction labour duties
- Assisting tradespersons and site supervision with daily activitiesOperating and maintaining hand and power tools safelySite preparation, material handling, and cleanupAssisting with demolition, concrete work, excavation, and installationsLoading, unloading, and moving construction materials and equipmentFollowing site safety procedures and company policiesSupporting project teams in maintaining productivity and quality standards
Experience:
Previous experience in construction, civil, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Experience using construction equipment and small tools is an asset
Physically capable of performing demanding work in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or within a team environment
Reliable transportation and valid driver's licence preferred
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Preferred Certifications and Tickets:
Construction Safety Training System (CSTS)
WHMIS 2015
Occupational First Aid (OFA)
Traffic Control Person (TCP)
Fall Protection
Confined Space Entry
Elevated Work Platform / Boom Lift
Telehandler or Forklift Certification
Ground Disturbance Level II
Rigging and Hoisting Certification
Compensation:
Compensation will vary depending on role, experience, project location, and client requirements.
