Gray Electric & Plumbing is a locally owned service company providing residential and commercial electrical, plumbing, and fire alarm solutions in Grande Prairie. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, skilled technicians, and a workplace where people are valued and supported.
We’re growing and looking for a Dispatcher / Scheduler / Coordinator to join our office team. This role is the hub of our daily operations, making sure customers are looked after, jobs are scheduled efficiently, and technicians have the parts and information they need to succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Schedule and dispatch plumbing and electrical technicians for service calls and small projects.
- Coordinate daily and weekly calendars to maximize technician productivity.
- Communicate with customers to confirm appointments, update on technician arrival, and handle reschedules.
- Order parts and materials as needed, track deliveries, and stage jobs for completion.
- Work closely with our CSR, sales, and estimators to ensure smooth handoffs and no missed jobs.
- Support technicians by providing job details, documentation, and material lists.
- Maintain records in ServiceTitan (our field service software).
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, or coordination (service, trades, preferred).
- Strong organizational skills — you enjoy making the puzzle pieces fit.
- Clear, professional communicator (with customers, technicians, and suppliers).
- Tech-savvy with software and willing to learn ServiceTitan.
- Knowledge of plumbing or electrical materials is an asset, but not required — we will train the right person.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep calm under pressure.
