Shamrock Storehouse is currently hiring experienced Bartender/Server (Part-Time and Full-Time) for our lively and authentic Irish pub located in the heart of Vancouver’s stadium district! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love great customer service, and enjoy working alongside an energetic team, this may be the perfect role for you!
Located at 837 Beatty Street, just steps from Rogers Arena and BC Place.
Duties include but are not limited to:

Greet customers and take orders

Mix and prepare cocktails and other drinks

Wash glassware and utensils after each use

Pour wine and beer
-
Manage tables and sections to ensure excellent customer service

Collect payment and operate the POS
-
Check identification of customers to make sure they meet requirements
-
Clean up after customers and clean work area
-
Serve customers in a friendly and helpful manner
-
Answer questions and make recommendations to customers
-
Upsell on menu items when appropriate
-
Train and coach junior members of staff
-
Assist servers and kitchen staff when required
-
Other duties as required.

Qualifications and Certifications
-
High-School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
-
Minimum of 1-2 years of bartending & serving experience in a busy bar or restaurant
-
Serving It Right certification
-
Ability to handle busy crowds
-
Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
-
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
-
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
