Assistant Salon Manager – First Choice Haircutters

Are you a licensed hairstylist who's ready to take the next step in your career? First Choice Haircutters is looking for a passionate, motivated, and service-driven Assistant Salon Manager to help lead our salon team while continuing to build your own clientele.
As our Assistant Manager, you'll spend time behind the chair delivering exceptional hair services while partnering with the Salon Manager to coach the team, drive salon performance, and create an outstanding experience for every guest.
What You'll Do
- Provide exceptional haircuts, colour, and styling services.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting guest relationships.
- Support the Salon Manager with daily salon operations.
- Coach, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve their goals.
- Help drive service and retail sales through education and guest recommendations.
- Assist with scheduling, inventory management, opening/closing procedures, and maintaining salon standards.
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and confidently.
- Foster a positive, supportive, and team-focused salon culture.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and brand standards are consistently met.
What We're Looking For
- Valid Ontario Hairstylist Licence.
- Previous leadership experience in a salon is preferred.
- Strong cutting, colouring, and styling skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Positive attitude with a passion for coaching and developing others.
- Organized, dependable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable using salon POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.
