Our Team is growing! We are looking for a Scheduler!
The Scheduler is primarily responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules. They will coordinate with various teams, review schedules, understand machine run-times, communicate schedule changes and provide support for schedule resolutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed projects schedules based on customer requirements, project timelines, labour availability, and manufacturing capacity
- Coordinate the schedules across Design, Purchasing, CNC, Fabrication, Toolroom, Assembly, Quality, and Shipping to ensure work progresses efficiently
- Monitor project progress daily and adjust schedules as required to address delays, engineering changes, material shortages, equipment downtime, and other procurement issues
- Communicate schedule changes, and potential delays to the appropriate departments and stakeholders
- Participate in daily production meetings to review progress, identify priorities, and address scheduling concerns
- Ensure forecasted schedules are accurate to support scheduling and customer commitments,
- Collect and analyse production information, including progress, production rates, and customer timelines, to ensure all schedules are accurate
- Assist in developing and implementing standardized scheduling procedures, processes, and best practices to improve efficiency and scheduling accuracy
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior experience as Production Scheduler, Planner or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Post-secondary education in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Supply Chain or related field is preferred
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning, automation, tooling, machining and labour utilization capabilities
- Effective organizational and communication skills, especially in a team environment, to convey information in a concise manner and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency with MS Project, MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams etc.)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills
- Able to proactively identify issues, analyse data and implement effective solutions

- Authorized to work in Canada
- Able to commute to the Kitchener location
- Primarily onsite role: Monday to Friday, 40 hours/week
