Work type: Full time, Permanent
Shift Schedule: Monday - Thursday (6:00am - 4:00pm) 38 hours per week
Wage: CAD $21/hr
Reporting to the Processing Supervisor, the Production Associate will be responsible for performing tasks related to hand trimming, curing, and bulk packaging. Functions of the job include:
Hand trim product to internal standards
Ensure product is cured and packaging product for shipment
Maintain product quality standards during curing process
Complete room set up, take down, change-over, and product distribution processes
Complete required training, including any required quality assurance and health and safety training
Report any equipment or facility system deficiencies
Adhere to all relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including but not limited to sanitation, cultivation, and processing
Responsible for accurately completing appropriate documentation and records
Responsible for promptly reporting any deviations from SOPs
Responsible for adhering to safe work procedures and reporting hazards
Complete relevant forms, logs, and other documentation to meet the requirements of SOPs and Company Policies
Participate in company training on policies, procedures, and work methods
Assist other departments as needed
Perform other duties as may be required by management
Qualifications
Ability to understand and follow documented procedures
Ability to follow direction and carry out tasks independently
Great attention to detail & ability to work cleanly and methodically
Must be able to stand and or sit for extended periods of time, lift objects on a regular basis, and perform daily repetitive tasks
Safe and reliable transportation
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Close visual focus required
