We are a growing security company committed to providing professional, reliable, and customer-focused security services throughout the Okanagan. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Security Supervisor to lead our team and ensure the highest standards of service are maintained.
Position Summary
The Security Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing security personnel, conducting site inspections, ensuring compliance with company policies, coordinating schedules, responding to incidents, and maintaining strong relationships with clients. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage security operations in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support security guards assigned to various sites
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections
- Ensure guards maintain professional standards and comply with company policies
- Assist with staff scheduling and shift coverage
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and client concerns
- Complete reports and maintain accurate records
- Train, mentor, and evaluate security personnel
- Communicate effectively with clients and management
- Assist with onboarding and field training of new employees
Requirements
- Valid BC Security Worker Licence
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record
- Previous security experience required
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
- Reliable transportation
- Clean criminal record
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
Uniform Requirements
Applicants must provide their own:
- Black cargo pants
- Black shoes or duty boots
The company will provide:
- Security uniform shirt
- Security/safety vest
- Company equipment as required

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
