We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team at our brand new state of the art practice, Axiom Dental. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting optimal oral health. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
we are located right off the Highway and easy to reach from any area in North Shore, Burnaby and Vancouver.
Parking is provided for our employees.
PART TIME HIRING- Hours: Wednesday 11-7, Thursday 11-7 and Saturday 9-4 OR Saturdays shift only.
Saturday availability is required- Can accommodate different schedules.
Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease and other oral health issues.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix or similar dental software.
- Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including orthodontics and pediatric dentistry.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance patient experience.
