JOB TITLE:
Metal Fabricator- Assembler
JOB SUMMARY:
Overall summary of responsibilities and expectations of the position for Modern Elevator Innovations (MEII) (the Company) will be to assemble, build, and fabricate metal components according to blueprints and specifications. This position reports directly to the Foreman.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Use power tools and machinery to cut, shape, and assemble metal components
- Operate press brake machines for bending and forming metal
- Perform plasma cutting and welding tasks
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all fabricated metal products
- Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Qualification & Skill Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Metal Fabricator or similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation
- Strong knowledge of metal fabrication techniques and processes
- Familiarity with machining operations
- Ability to use various power tools and equipment effectively
- Experience operating cranes or other lifting equipment is a plus
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
