Position: Shop Labourer / Sandblasting and painting Prepper
Salary: $20-22/hr

Min 2 years experience in an industrial shop (manufacturing or production). This is a must. We are currently seeking two (2) shop labourers for a large machine/fabrication and painting shop. The role will require candidates to prep parts to be sandblasted or painted (cleaning/degreasing/taping/wrapping etc), assist with moving parts around the shop, and help the Painters and Blasters. Using hand and power tools to disassemble and reassemble parts. This position will involve a significant amount of physically lifting and moving parts (up to 50lbs) as well as walking/standing for the majority of the shift.
Key Duties:
- Assisting Painters and Blasters
- Preparing parts for painting, cleaning parts before and after blasting
- Using Forklifts and Overhead Cranes within the shop
- Deburring, grinding, painting, and sandblasting small parts
- Loading/unloading trucks & assisting shipper/receivers.
- ensuring a safe and functional work environment
PPE Required: Steel-toed boots
