Job Description:
Responsible for providing consistently high-levels of customer service to all outlet guests with attentive and efficient service, and by displaying a strong working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials. The Host/Expo shall perform all duties in a friendly and professional manner, and ensure that each guest has an enjoyable dining experience.
Job Responsibilities:

Promptly greet customers with a welcoming and courteous manner and arrange for quick and efficient service from serving staff

Provide a pleasant atmosphere for customers to dine in by reducing the amount of walk-through traffic using various strategies, such as line control and name lists

Offering menus and water to guests
-
Ensure meals are complete and deliver to guests table
-
Clear and reset tables, and take dishes to the kitchen
-
Maintain communication with outlet team members to ensure overall dining success
-
Monitor and stock supplies at bussing and Maitre’D stations
-
Help with end of day duties such as polishing cutlery, rollups and general cleaning
-
Ensure quality of product and services offered at all times

Complete other tasks as assigned
Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Self-motivated, can work well in a team as well as independently

Physically strong as this position requires heavy lifting and standing for long periods

Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills are mandatory

Ability to smile and have fun while accomplishing all required tasks is essential

Previous experience in food and beverage an asset; general knowledge and experience within the service and hospitality industry an asset

Some positions require skiing/snowboarding ability and equipment
-
Knowledge and adherence of ALGC and Foodsafe legislation
-
A Police Background Check from your home country or province will be required upon commencement of employment
Work Schedule:
5 days on / 2 days off - Business level dependent
Dress Code:
Employee to provide their own: black dress pants, black non-slip shoes, black socks as per Appearance Policy.
Uniform shirt to be purchased from LLSA.
