A part-time building and outdoor maintenance position at a local senior housing complex. Applicant must be able to lift 50+ lbs, maintain and operate simple equipment and hand tools, diagnose problems and troubleshoot basic home-based maintenance problems and apply fixes as possible.
Duties include general building maintenance and preventative maintenance duties, including performing minor repairs, renovations, maintenance of the residence, and coordination with contractors to ensure buildings are well-maintained.
Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner. A working knowledge of septic systems is favourable. Applicant must be friendly, approachable, patient, and courteous.
This job is ideal for a retired person.
Must be available weekdays, evenings and weekends.
