Zeebest Plastics of Canada Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Technical Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our team in Morinville, AB. This role serves as a key point of contact for many of our customers and plays an important part in supporting both customer satisfaction and sales growth.

About the Opportunity
The Technical Sales / Customer Service Representative plays a key role in driving customer satisfaction and supporting sales growth by delivering responsive, knowledgeable, and solution-based service to both existing as well as new customer accounts. This includes understanding customer needs, providing guidance on product selection, preparing timely and accurate quotations and estimates, and coordinating with the production team to ensure on-time order fulfillment. This position will appeal to those who have a technical background in sales with interest in product design.

Responsibilities
- Manage inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins, providing accurate product and service information.
- Prepare, issue, and follow up on quotations, ensuring timely responses and strong conversion of quotes to orders.
- Prepare and submit bids for tender projects, including responding to RFQs and RFPs in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate effectively with industry professionals and members of the public throughout the bidding and project coordination process.
- Proactively identify and pursue sales opportunities through online research, cold calls and the monitoring of government procurement websites.
- Maintain and strengthen customer relationships by keeping clients informed of product offerings, resolving concerns, and addressing warranty or service issues.
- Enter and convert sales orders accurately in SAGE and ensure proper documentation and workflow alignment.
- Coordinate with Production to confirm inventory availability, production schedules, and shipping timelines.
- Work with management to support key account growth strategies and opportunities.
- Track and manage customer interactions, quotes, and order activity daily.
- Support the Custom Fabrication Division by acting as liaison to the customer and assisting in the preparing of quotes, attending meetings including site visits and managing follow-ups as required.
- Assist in the coordination and administration of warranty and repair service work.
- Coordinate freight & logistics for customer deliveries.
- Work with accounting to support accurate billing and promptly address and resolve customer invoice inquiries.
- Participate in sales and team meetings, contributing to continuous improvement and process efficiency.
- Maintain up-to-date product and technical knowledge through training and product reviews.
- Support and follow all company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned by management.
Our Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of experience in inside sales, order desk, estimating or a related customer service role.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment would be considered an asset.
- A degree or diploma in architectural technology, engineering, or a related field is desirable.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn and navigate order entry software. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with SAGE or similar ERP/order entry systems considered an asset.
- Ability to read blueprints and basic drafting skills are considered an asset.
- Experience in software related to industrial and/or architectural design such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion, Visio and/or sketch-up would be considered and asset.
- Proven sales, customer service and marketing mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ability to learn and retain a large volume of product information and clearly communicate product features and solutions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent time management skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a professional and effective phone manner with a comfort level in the use of social media.
- Demonstrated ability to support sales growth, close opportunities, and provide the necessary follow up is key.
- Positive, proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
