Logistics & Inventory Associate / Specialist

Amego Electric Vehicles is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics & Inventory Associate to support our fast-growing retail and e-commerce operations across three retail locations. This role is key to ensuring smooth inventory flow through receiving, shipping, merchandising, and order fulfillment—while maintaining accurate inventory levels.
You’ll help deliver an exceptional customer experience by keeping products organized, available, and shipped efficiently, while supporting sales as needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesShipping, Receiving & Fulfillment
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders
- Inspect for damage or discrepancies and report issues
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders (retail and Shopify/e-commerce)
- Manage and fulfill Shopify orders accurately and on time
- Coordinate shipments and keep customers updated on delivery status
- Maintain proper shipping records and documentation
Inventory Management & Transfers
- Organize warehouse and retail inventory for efficiency and accessibility
- Ensure inventory is properly merchandised across all locations
- Execute inventory transfers between locations, especially within Calgary
- Optimize inventory by prioritizing proper purchasing vs. transfers from Toronto
- Assist with purchasing and replenishment to prevent stockouts
- Perform cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits
- Follow FIFO practices and help move aging inventory
Loss Prevention & Merchandising
- Monitor and prevent inventory loss, damage, and discrepancies
- Maintain clean, organized, and secure storage and retail areas
- Ensure products are properly priced, tagged, and displayed
- Support accurate and optimized Shopify product listings
Sales & Customer Support
- Assist customers in-store and support the sales team
- Contact customers for pickups, help close sales, and follow up on satisfaction
- Keep customers informed on orders, shipments, and delays
- Support order pickups and general customer communication
- Develop product knowledge and contribute to a strong customer experience
Qualifications
- 3–8 years experience in logistics, shipping/receiving, or inventory management
- Experience with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms
- Retail inventory experience with hard goods (bikes, parts, electronics)
- Familiarity with POS/inventory systems (Lightspeed or similar)
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, team environment
- Good computer skills (Shopify, POS, Excel, Inventory & Shipping software)
- Ability to lift and move products as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$27.00 per hour
