As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled items, ensuring that all meals are cooked to perfection and served promptly. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items on the grill, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Follow recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency in food preparation.
- Monitor food temperatures and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill area, including equipment and utensils.
- Assist in meal preparation by prepping ingredients as needed for other kitchen staff.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling practices.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines within the kitchen environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a grill cook or similar role within the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety standards is essential.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
