You will be a crucial member of our team that will be responsible for monitoring, transporting, rebalancing, and maintaining our fleet of e-scooters in the field to ensure a safe, available ride is always nearby. This role is key to helping grow and maintain our fleet and directly impacts millions of riders who rely on our service.
Current Shift Opening:
- Afternoons/evenings, approx. 2:00pm-10:00pm
- Overnights, approx. 10:00pm-6:00am
Shift times may vary depending on operational demands.
Available Orientation Session:
- July 2nd; orientation time depends on shift preference (Orientation shift only)
Responsibilities
- Safely drive our fleet vans to ensure that our fleet is distributed throughout the city.
- Work with our local operations team to handle the redistribution or recovery of high-priority vehicles in a timely manner.
- Patrol the designated service areas identifying any e-scooters that may need maintenance or repair.
- Ensuring the quality control is met (and occasionally, essential maintenance) on the scooters.
- Be a brand ambassador and positively exhibit/share safe riding practices with the community.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Class G driver's license
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency, especially when operating larger vehicles in busy urban areas
- Tech-savvy and confident using mobile apps for routing, scanning, and reporting tasks
- Able to read the map of our service area, identify high-priority zones, and plan efficient routes to maximize productivity during their shift
- Quick learners who can adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Able to solve problems on the fly (e.g., blocked scooters, tech issues, or inclement weather)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to flag issues and work independently while keeping in touch with the team
- Physically capable of lifting and moving scooters regularly, and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable, flexible, and organized with good time management
- Be willing to be subject to a background check
