Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food service. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal service
- Handle food safely, following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
- Serve food to guests in a courteous and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts
- Restock supplies and ensure all necessary ingredients are available for daily operations
- Follow food handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
- Support the team during busy service periods by providing efficient and friendly service
Skills
- Experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to serve guests courteously and professionally
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining quality standards
- Team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn new skills within the food industry and adapt to evolving procedures
Pay: $18.25-$19.00 per hour
