Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated <PERSON> to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various aspects of construction, including blueprint reading, concrete forming, restoration, siding, and carpentry. This role involves working on diverse projects that require proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and welding. The <PERSON> will contribute to building and repairing structures with precision and professionalism, ensuring high-quality results in a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow detailed blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
- Perform concrete forming, finishing, and related tasks to create durable foundations and structures
- Assist with restoration projects, including repairing and refurbishing existing structures
- Install siding and other exterior finishes using appropriate tools and techniques
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct woodworking tasks such as framing, trimming, and custom carpentry work
- Use welding equipment to join metal components as required for structural integrity
- Engage in heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks to move materials and equipment on-site
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during project execution
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction-related roles with knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, concrete forming, restoration, siding, carpentry, welding, and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools effectively while adhering to safety standards
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices and protocols
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding environments for extended periods
- Experience with woodworking techniques and concrete finishing is highly desirable
- Valid experience with heavy equipment operation preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and interpret project specifications
- Prior construction experience demonstrating versatility across multiple trades is preferred
