Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse client base. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including lymphatic drainage massage, Korean Golki massage, deep tissue, and other modalities.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to assess health history, preferences, and specific concerns.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting treatments and progress.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and recommend appropriate follow-up treatments or referrals if necessary.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Stay updated on the latest massage techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development.
- Build strong customer relationships through excellent customer service and effective communication skills.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
- Prior experience in providing therapeutic massage services preferred but not required; training will be provided for new graduates.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is advantageous for understanding client conditions and treatment plans.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients of diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures clearly and address client questions professionally.
