We are a busy, multidisciplinary physiotherapy clinic in Mississauga seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and patient-focused Physiotherapy assistant/ Kinesiologist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and wants to make a meaningful impact on patients recovering from injury, surgery, and chronic pain.
Our clinic is committed to delivering evidence-based care while providing an exceptional patient experience. You'll work alongside experienced physiotherapists, massage therapists, and other healthcare professionals to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.
Responsibilities
- Help create a positive, welcoming, and professional clinic environment.
- Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and fully equipped treatment areas for patient care.
- Educate patients on prescribed home exercise programs and proper exercise techniques.
- Monitor patient participation and report progress or concerns to the treating clinician.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, exercises and rehabilitation principles. (Preferred)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$22.00 per hour
