Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of equipment and machinery. Your expertise will ensure operational efficiency and safety across our facilities. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of mechanical systems and equipment to identify issues early.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive repair tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of equipment or parts, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform repairs on vehicles or machinery, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used accurately in logs and reports.
- Collaborate with team members to diagnose complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety and efficiency during all tasks.
- Other duties as assigned by the management team.
Requirements
- Red Seal Licensed in automotive service
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or machinery maintenance.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and other mechanical equipment required for repair work.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Prior mechanic experience or technical training related to machinery or vehicle repair preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards at all times.
- Flexibility to work in various environments, including indoor workshops or outdoor sites as needed.
