Shipping & Logistics Coordinator for a permanent opportunity with a growing organization that specializes in domestic and international product distribution. This role is ideal for an experienced logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong understanding of shipping operations, customs documentation, ERP systems, and inventory management.
In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, preparing customs documentation, tracking freight movements, supporting inventory control activities, and optimizing logistics processes. You will work closely with internal teams, carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure products are shipped efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage the packing, shipping, tracking, and delivery of domestic and international shipments
-
Prepare shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, customs paperwork, CUSMA documentation, B13 forms, waybills, and freight records
-
Coordinate shipments involving Dangerous Goods while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
-
Select and coordinate approved carriers for shipments based on service requirements and cost efficiency

Track shipments and provide status updates to internal teams and external customers
-
Perform picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities as required
-
Support inventory management activities, including inventory reviews, batch reconciliations, and finished goods inventory control

Assist with the implementation and optimization of supply chain processes and logistics software systems
-
Utilize ERP systems and carrier software to manage shipping and receiving transactions
-
Provide logistics support and shipping recommendations to internal stakeholders and customers

Obtain freight quotations and assess shipping requirements for new products, formulations, and prototypes

Receive, organize, and distribute incoming goods throughout the facility

Move materials and skids using appropriate equipment and tools

Maintain accurate shipping, inventory, and logistics records

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics, inventory management, and order fulfillment

Perform additional logistics and warehouse duties as assigned
Qualifications
-
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
-
Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and training

Minimum 5 years of experience in shipping, logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations

Strong knowledge of customs documentation, international shipping regulations, and Incoterms
-
Experience preparing CUSMA certificates, B13 declarations, commercial invoices, and related export documentation

Proficiency with carrier software such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, or similar platforms

Knowledge of Dangerous Goods regulations, including TDG and IATA requirements
-
Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is considered a strong asset

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations
-
Excellent organizational and time management skills

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
-
Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Professional, customer-focused attitude with strong attention to detail
-
CIFFA and/or CITT designation, or actively working toward certification, is considered an asset
