The Hawk Golf Club (formerly Peninsula Lakes) is currently looking for seasonal/casual workers to join our golf operations team for the 2026 golf season! Weekend availability will be required.
Job Description:
- Operating mowers to cut tees, approaches, and greens
- Daily course set-up, including changing holes, tee block placement, garbage collection
- Use of line trimmers, push mowers, backpack and handheld blowers
- Bunker maintenance including raking, weeding, mowing and trimming surrounds
- Operating of tow-behind blowers, utility vehicles, and some riding equipment
- Ball mark repairs, filling of divots
- Maintenance projects including seeding, sodding and other course improvement projects
- May be asked to assist in irrigation or drainage repair
Qualifications:
- Ability to be on time and ready for work (6:00am or earlier in peak season)
- Bring a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Be able to work required weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in all weather conditions (heat/rain/cold)
- Willingness to perform physical labour (lifting/raking/shoveling)
- Reliable transportation
- Complete tasks with attention to detail and precision
- Previous golf/ landscaping experience an asset but not essential
Offered wage will be based on experience/skills/abilities, as well as any relevant education/accreditation related to this position.
