Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Community Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, medication management, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals within the community setting. Duties
- Dispense prescriptions accurately while verifying dosage and appropriateness based on patient needs
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients regarding proper usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy plans, especially in acute care and pediatrics cases
- Maintain comprehensive patient records and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards
- Monitor patient progress and follow up on therapy outcomes to ensure optimal health benefits
- Stay current with medical terminology, pharmaceutical updates, and industry best practices to deliver high-quality patient care
- Assist in managing inventory, ordering medications, and ensuring proper storage conditions
Experience
- Prior experience in community pharmacy
- Strong background in patient care services
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams
Pay: $45.00-$50.00 per hour
