Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated BOH (Back of House) Team Member to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering high-quality food service. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to recipes and standards
- Support cooking processes, ensuring timely and efficient production of menu items
- Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices during all stages of food handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure quality and safety standards are met
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and rotating stock as needed
- Support front-of-house staff with serving when necessary, ensuring smooth service flow
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment for all team members
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not mandatory; eagerness to learn is valued
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and basic meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude and good communication abilities
- Flexibility to work during scheduled shifts, including weekends or evenings if required
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and quality in all tasks
Pay: $18.25-$18.75 per hour
